| Biography Kaluyu'ti (pronounced Gal-Lou-Hugh-N-Dee) is a member of the Onyo'ta a:ka First Nation of the Thames. His name means "Cloudspassingover". He was born and raised, for the most part, in London Ontario Canada. During Kaluyu'ti's childhood, there was little to no exposure to his ancestoral culture and therefore, it has become an on-going learning process. The principles taught by Aboriginal elders are: Love, Respect, Truth, Bravery, Wisdom, Humility and Honesty. The Haudensaunee (people of the Longhouse) have the Great Law of Peace to guide them. Kaluyu'ti has been an active member of the community. He has served on the Board of Directors for N'Amerind Friendship Centre in London, as well as a member of Wiich Ke Yiig (London chaptor of C.A.S.N.P) In 1997, Kaluyu'ti helped co-ordinate the "Listen For The Drums" Native Art Exhibition. He has done poetry readings at the Forest City Gallery and at the Listen For The Drums Exhibition. Aboriginal Solidarity Day and The Gathering Of The Good Minds Festival are activities Kaluyu'ti also stays active in by maintaining a website for the events and participating in promtion. You can also hear Kaluyu'ti fill in for Asayenes and Asayenes Kwe on CHRW 94.9FM as he often guest hosts the award-winning radio program Smoke Signals. In Short, Kaluyu'ti is a Native American Poet, Radio Personality, Activist, Hip Hop Artist, and Community Advocate who's motto is "uniting nations through celebration, education and information".
